FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is eyelash extension?
Eyelash extension is a service that provides length and thickness to your own natural lashes. They are single strand of lashes made to replicate natural eyelash. These are applied to each individual natural lash using medical grade bonding agent. Whether you are wanting a natural everyday look or that perfect make up ready look, lash extensions is perfect for every occasion! We do not use strips, clusters or pre-made extensions.
Will eyelash extension damage my natural lashes?
Nope. When eyelash extensions are properly applied, they will not damage your natural lashes. Your natural lashes are constantly shedding and cycling back therefore extensions should simply fall off with yours. Lash extensions only become harmful when our technician apply extensions that are too long or thick for your natural lashes.
What is the difference between the Classic lashes and Volume lashes?
Classic is a traditional method where 1 lash extensions is applied to 1 natural lash. Classic lashes are perfect for clients who already have many lashes but want to add more length or for clients who simply just want a natural mascara look.
Volume lashes is a method where 3 or more lash extensions are applied to 1 natural eyelash, using very fine lashes. This technique is when the lash artist create hand made fans prior to applying to the client's natural lash.
We must not forget about the diameter in both of these sets. In a tradition Classic lash set 0.15mm - 0.20mm are used depending on your natural lash condition, whereas in a Russian Volume set 0.05mm - 0.7mm are used. As super fine lash extensions are used more extensions can be applied to the natural lashes. This is very much our most popular service, perfect for all clients. Especially those who not have many lashes, have sparse lashes or those simply wanting more volume.
These are not clusters! Cluster lashes are pre-made fans with 2-6 (or more) synthetic fibers bound together at the base.
These are heavy, not customizable and are damaging to the natural lashes if on long period of time.
What kind of lash extension do you use?
We use professional quality weightless silk and mink lashes
Do you touch up / fill on lash extension from another salon?
Unfortunately No. If you are coming from another salon, you will need to book a removal, following a new set. as every salon use different products and different skills. We do not work on other people's work.
How long do eyelash extension last?
Most eyelash extension adhesives have a bond time of anywhere from 1-5 weeks. All hair on your body follows a specific growth cycle. Due to each individual eyelash being in its own growth cycle, it is expected that your natural eyelashes will shed 2 - 5 per day, which is why an infill is recommended every 2-3 weeks. However, lasting is also determined by how well you care for your lash extensions.
How long does the process take?
The initial application process for lash extensions take approximately 0.5 hours - 2hours depending on the set client's decide to go for.
After you lie comfortably on a massage table with both eyes closed, an under eye gel pad will be placed to protect your lower lashes during the application.

Can I have eyelash extension during pregnancy?
Yes you can! However, there are a few things you need to consider before deciding if lash extension is suitable for you:
1. You will need to lie flat on your back for more than an hour (depending on the lash set you are getting) which most pregnant ladies will find uncomfortable.
2. There will be changes in hormones, which may cause you to be hypersensitive to things you’ve never had a problem with before.
3, This will also affect retention of your lash extensions.
